Cesar, the ruthless ruler of the roman empire has his eyes set on a different breed of killing machines. No beast or man could ever defeat. He is creating a whole new phenomenon so grand, that the spectators won't be able to tear their eyes off them.
Hybrids. Vampires and Werewolves are being ambushed all over the world and brought to him. Forcing them to breed, not caring in the slightest that they are living creatures. Kept in cages until they are barely old enough to fight to their deaths. And for what? For a spectacle. To keep Cesar's hungry, sick and dying humans at bay. A facade to hide his poor rulings.
The money is rolling in. Word is spreading like wildfire over the globe. Humans are tripping over their feet to see these gigantic monsters ripping each other to pieces.
The barbaric, ghastly fights aren't going unheard by the Gods. They aren't unanimous; some disapprove, some encourage...but none are doing much to stop any of it.
The angels are acting like guardians to the humans. They are the only ones paying any attention to the innocent ones. Bringing them fresh food to the hungry and acting like nurses to the sick. The demons won't have any of that, of course and strive to do anything they can to stop the angels from helping their precious humans.
The world is a perilous place for any and all creatures... Even for immortals this is an
