A report of an attack had arrived at her community and the people became worried. Vampire attacks never happened in Runic before. These monster crossed a line they weren't supposed to be close to. Athene showed her worries and went to the closest hospice to see the victims. As a queen she was responsible for her people and those people didn't deserve to die soon.
Athene arrived at the hospice and climbed off of her horse. '' give her a nice place to rest and some food, she deserved it. '' she spoke to an Amazon and walked into the hospice. Without asking questions Athene walked on towards the room her people were wounded and dying. Her blue eyes became softer and her whole expression showed more worry than harshness.
Athene sighed and walked over to the first bed. the victim was a six year old girl. A little girl nothing more than that! It could piss her off you know, but Athene kept calm and patient, even if those were her worst qualities. She stroked the girl's cheek and saw her wounds. '' you'll get better soon my child. '' she spoke softly and saw two more children and a woman.
Athene sighed, how could people do such a thing to another. The nurse came in and apologized. '' no apologies needed, but please save these people, they are important to me. '' she spoke sadly but the nurse looked defeated. '' something had hit their systems and we can't figure out what. There's nothing we can do for them. '' she spoke sadly and left the room.
